SRAM RED eTap AXS 1X Electronic Post Mount HRD Groupset

The SRAM 12-speed RED eTap AXS 1X Electronic Post Mount HRD Groupset might just be the cleverest single ring road groupset on sale today. SRAM have designed the rear derailleur to work perfectly with single and double front ring setups, and also happily operate cassettes with up to 33 teeth on the largest sprocket. This adaptability is achieved in part thanks to SRAM using fluid damping rather than a clutch mechanism to keep the chain in place and shifting accurately.

Certain aspects of the operation of the groupset can be altered and personalised through the AXS app as well as providing information about the battery condition and maintenance schedule. The redesigned hydraulic HydroHC post mount two-piece brake callipers provide a more positive feel than before, and the separate Contact Point Adjustment and Reach adjust ensure that the brakes can be fettled for precise fit and feel.
